Motorsport Medical

Drivers between the ages of 18 and 44 will be required to undergo a driver’s medical and an eye examination in order to obtain the National Motorsport licence. Subsequently, they will submit a self-declaration and undergo an eye examination in order to renew their national licence. Medical and eye exams are mandatory every five years from the age of 45 to 70 and annually from the age of 75.

Drivers of all ages are required to undergo a medical and a resting ECG every two years in order to obtain the FIA international licence. Individuals over the age of 45 are required to undergo a stress and resting ECG.
