And what transpires on the day?

We will conduct a 10 to 15 minute medical check on you with the assistance of our experienced GMC registered and insured physicians. Your medicals include a Snellen chart-based eyesight examination, blood pressure readings to verify that your blood pressure meets DVLA standards, and a questionnaire that enquires about your medical history. In order to satisfy the vision requirement, you must achieve a vision of 6/7.5 in one eye and 6/60 in the other on a 3-meter Snellen chart. Please ensure that you bring your current prescription and any driving spectacles or lenses you wear to the assessment. Other standards that drivers of Group Two vehicles must adhere to will also be examined during your medical evaluation. To determine whether you are eligible for a Group Two licence, you will be asked questions about your medical history, surgical history, medication history, and social history (including your alcohol and smoking history). The answers you provide regarding your medications, medical history, and the results of your examination will be used by our physician to fill out your D4 form or issue a certificate.
